When & How to Blend

To maximize performance and consistency, mycorrhizal inoculants should be blended into soil or media during the final mixing phase, just before packaging or bulk shipment. This ensures even distribution while minimizing handling damage or exposure to excessive heat or moisture.

Mycopro Ag products are designed for clean, easy incorporation into potting soils, custom blends, and bulk media. The dry, micronized powder disperses evenly through bark, peat, coco, and compost-based substrates without binding or clumping.

Batch Mixing

Add the product directly into your ribbon blender, paddle mixer, or vertical screw mixer. Blend for 3–6 minutes depending on batch size and mixer type to ensure even inoculant distribution.

Hand Top-Dressing (Small Batches)

For specialty or hand-mixed products, top-dress the inoculant during media layering and mix thoroughly with a shovel or rake before bagging.

Injection (for Liquid Carriers)

Mycopro Ag products can also be premixed into liquid suspensions for wetting media via spray bars, as long as proper agitation is maintained and filters finer than #50 mesh are removed.

Important Application Notes

Maintain adequate soil moisture after application to support mycorrhizal growth. Ensure spores comes in close contact with roots. For best results, allow 2-4 weeks for colonization before expecting visible benefits.
